Longtime admirers of the Mexican culture we grew up alongside in Fontana, CA, we developed an appreciation for the soft, warm fabrics in ponchos, hoodies, and serapes. So we took a look and feel of these fabrics, used a heavy burgundy yarn dye dobby-inspired material, and put them into a daily-use accessory.
Combining quality and original design with the casual feel-good benefits of the flannel shirt jacket. The heavy 9oz textured cotton ages nicely and will become softer from wear and washing.
The cotton is brushed and undergoes a preshrinking wash, making the garment softer and able to trap in more warmth. Side gussets balance an untucked look. Snap buttons quickly go from luxury to necessity.
